Use the Maria Library database to research any non-Western “alternate” healing practice which can be any one of the practices that are “not in the mainstream USA” Select an “alternate” healing practice or modality that interests you or that you have experienced/explored. This will serve as the “target non-western” healing practice for this assignment. One purpose of this assignment is to help you understand a non-western healing practice and the in depth knowledge that has accumulated overtime (reports of scientific, qualitative and quantitative, clinical, case studies) in validating the specific healing practice through the eyes of the Western “scientific” world.
