Decission to withdraw feeding tube from an active demented patient due to previous living will.

Situation: An Active demented patient recieved a Gtube after no eating, The decission was by the patient son and the ethics committe at the hospital. however her daughter came to visit 2 weeks after and realize that her mom had a feeding tube. she states that that was not her moms wishes, she came bach a week later with a living will and the feeding tube was withdrawned and patient died 8 days after.
